How to Use SignUp.com to Volunteer at Epiphany!
Recently, we navigated away from Realm, to Signup.com for all our volunteer sign ups.
This includes worship leadership (lector, greeters, crucifers, etc); school support; and even some event sign ups. This tutorial is to show you how to use SignUp.com!

Note: This is the page for worship leadership sign up, if you’re on a special team (ie offering counter; signing up for an event; or to volunteer with outreach, you’ll have a different link. Please reach out to your team leader for that link. Otherwise, the steps should be the same.
Click Login (if you have an account) or Register (if you don’t)
3. Register (you don’t have an account)
- Use the email address where you’d like to receive notifications about your shifts (by default, if we’ve signed you up for something, we use the primary email you have listed on realm

Use the email where you’ve received signup.com notifications in the past. If we’ve signed you up, you might have to create a password.
The benefit to having an account is that you can see all the shifts you’re signed up for in one place and switch shifts with others - but it’s not required.
4. Click on the role you’d like to sign up for
We ask that you only sign up for roles you’ve currently served on at Epiphany. If you would like to join a new team, please reach out the Melanie (mwright@epiphanyws.org) and she’ll get you connected to that team leader and/or necessary training.
Note: Some roles may be filled, based on the dates that we have sign ups available. If a role says full, that doesn’t mean forever - check back in a couple weeks or keep an eye on the Star (weekly email) for when we update the calendar.
5. Choose a date you are available to serve
You’ll see the available dates are “open” and you can click “Sign Up”
If you’re logged in, your information will autofill when you click sign up.
5. Confirm your information is correct
It will link your name with your email address - if you are signing up for a child or partner that does not have an email address - PLEASE DO NOT EDIT THE NAME HERE - FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS IN STEP 6
Note: By changing the name here, it will edit the name for any other role associated with this email address.
If you’re signing up another family member / person with an email address - you can edit the name AND email address here - please edit both or neither.
If you’re signing up yourself AND another family member for a role with more than one spot available, you may hit “Save and Add Another”
6. COMMENT
If you’re signing up another family member or person that does not have an email address (ex a child) - please enter their name in the “Comments” box.
Note: This box will not appear until after you have signed up.
7. THANKS!
You’re now signed up to serve - you’ll receive a notification confirming you signed up, as well as an email reminder the week prior to your date of service.
