Congregational Care
The Congregational Care Team is a ministry to our Epiphany congregation as we follow Christ’s example of caring for each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our mission includes the following:
Provide meals for families when members have been hospitalized
Send cards to members who have an illness, experience a loss, need encouragement, or have little contact with other members
Serve as liaison for the pastor when special situations exist
Arrange transportation for members who need a ride to church services
Stephen Ministry
Epiphany is a Stephen Ministry congregation and provides confidential, grace-based, Christ-centered care for people in need. Stephen Ministers have been through 50 hours of training and receiving ongoing supervision and continuing education. To request a Stephen Minister or to learn more about Stephen Ministry, contact the church office.
Fellowship Events
Epiphany enjoys a variety of fellowship and community events throughout the year. In months that have one, we gather for a Fifth Sunday Fellowship Brunch after worship. During Advent and Lent, we enjoy Wednesday evening meals together. We are always looking for a good excuse to have a pot luck or a reception to celebrate a special occasion.
Prayer Partners
The Prayer Chain prays daily, by individual name, for those on the prayer list, which is updated regularly. Requests for inclusion are received directly from church members as well as from Prayer Cards placed in the offering plate on Sundays and channeled through the Pastors.
WELCA
Epiphany is very blessed with a spiritually active group of women participating in our Women of the ELCA organization. Our three very active circles share in inspirational programs and Bible studies, work on many worthwhile projects and have wonderful fun and fellowship as Sisters in Christ – we are a real support group for each other.
